Nintendo Wii

With only 12 days left till the release of the Nintendo Wii, (it comes out November 19) there is still lots of information about the system not yet revealed. I'm not going to talk about that right now though. I'm going to talk about some of the stuff we know. The system is going to cost $280 CAD ($250 in the USA). Controllers are $45, Nunchuck is $25, and games are $60 - $70. These prices are Canadian, and in the USA, they are about $5.00 lower. When you buy the system, you get the system, the stand, 1 controller, 1 Nunchuck attachment, Wii sports, and all the cables you need. This is a great deal compared to other systems, and is currently looking like the top choice for many gamers. At launch, 1,000,000 systems are going to be released. It is also currently said that there are going to be 29 games available at launch. I myself plan to buy the system, along with the games The Legend of Zelda : The Twilight Princess, Excite Truck, and Tony Hawks Downhill Jam. Tony Hawks Downhill Jam is mainly a racing game, and has 4 player support. Excite Truck, also a racing game, has 2 player support, and Zelda is a 1 player game. Most people who buy the system at launch are also going to pick up a copy of Zelda. Here is the latest video from Nintendo -
The video showed a bit of the story mode, but it will make more sense when you read about it, or when you get the actual game. I will be posting more on the system over the next few days, up until launch. Below is the origninal Nintendo Wii trailer. It was the first trailer from Nintendo. I will be posting more trailers shortly.
Please note - these videos may take some time to load, depending upon the YouTube.com server load. Usually there is no problems, but at the time of posting, the servers were extremely slow.
